Common Cap Pricing Plan Terms
Before you decide if our Cap Pricing Program is right for you, here are some of the typical terms you’ll find when it comes to cap plans. Or, you can view the full Cap Pricing Program Terms and Conditions.
Based on your fuel usage, we would estimate the total number of litres you would use during a heating season. This would typically be the number of litres you would agree to purchase at a capped price.
Our heating oil and propane contracts cover the heating season, from September through May, and therefore, the price you sign up for applies to those litres delivered during that time period.
Cap Price Contract
If you choose a cap price contract, you agree to cap the price of your heating oil or propane litres. If the price of heating oil or propane increases significantly, you will benefit from the money saved had you had to purchase the fuel at the market price. But if the price of heating oil or propane decreases, your cap price plan will ensure you get the lower price.
